Folks who are customs brokers, or thinking about becoming one, know that efforts and energies to pass Customs Broker License Exam (CBLE) is substantial. The efforts don’t end there, as one often must become a subject matter expert related to their field of work. CBP would like to make additional push, which professions like lawyers already have – continuing education requirement.
The education component would include 36 continuing education credits per triennial period. Educational venues would include in-person or online seminars, workshops, symposia, or conventions, and even the presentation of subject matter as an instructor.
